Location:

Hybrid - 3 days onsite (East Hanover, NJ)

Introduction

The goal is to fulfill revenue objectives and adhere to accounting and reporting policies. This includes reviewing and analyzing finances, ensuring compliance with regulations, and refining reporting documentation. The role involves verifying the integrity and accuracy of financial operations and safeguarding organizational assets. The position is also responsible for overseeing certain contracts as it relates to financial reporting, leading strategic planning for accounting policies, and maintaining internal controls over financial transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel
• Working knowledge of Accounting, Purchasing, and Payroll software and systems such as D365/ADP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills, flexibility, and the ability to set priorities
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior Biotech experience
• Designation of CPA
• Ability to prioritize and juggle concurrent demands

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Managing the general accounting function
• Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction
• Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements
• Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation
• Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations
