Our dynamic and fast-paced organization is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in our financial department, ensuring the company's financial operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring proper financial controls are in place. This role will also oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and manage the month-end close process. Experience in mortgage, construction, or non-profit industries is a plus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to company executives and the board of directors.
2. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
3. Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
6. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
7. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and analyses.
8. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to align financial management with short and long-term company goals.
9. Monitor and manage company cash flow and liquidity.
10. Continually assess current accounting operations, offering suggestions for improvement and implementing new processes.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
4. Experience in managing the month-end close process.
5. Proficiency in managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
6. Experience in account reconciliations.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite.
10. Experience in mortgage, construction, or non-profit industries is a plus.
11. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
