Description We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial oversight for our manufacturing operation in Everett, Washington. This role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic finance support, helping the site make informed decisions around cost, profitability, and performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing finance, budgeting, reporting, and compliance within a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities: - Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to deliver timely, accurate results that meet company and regulatory expectations. - Produce financial statements, operational reports, and detailed variance reviews that support informed decision-making across the site. - Manage the integrity of the general ledger, account structure, and supporting financial records to ensure reliable reporting. - Lead cost accounting activities for machining and assembly operations, including standard costing, job costing, and analysis of cost of goods sold. - Evaluate production performance by reviewing labor usage, scrap trends, overhead recovery, and other key manufacturing cost drivers. - Work closely with operations and program leaders to assess program profitability, monitor margins, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance. - Guide the financial aspects of customer, supplier, subcontractor, lease, and service agreements, supporting review, negotiation, and execution with a focus on business value and risk management. - Own the annual budget and rolling forecast process for the Everett, Washington site, including scenario modeling, long-range planning, and monitoring of cash flow and working capital. - Maintain strong financial controls across purchasing, inventory, payroll, and transaction processing while coordinating internal and external audit support. - Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, while coaching accounting staff and promoting a high-performance, values-driven team environment. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $160,000. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life insurance STD/LTD 401k with 3% match 3 weeks PTO 7 paid holidays Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Hands-on expertise in cost accounting, including standard costing, job costing, and manufacturing variance analysis. - Familiarity with cash flow planning, internal controls, compliance practices, and audit support. - Experience reviewing and supporting contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, or service providers. - Proficiency with ERP systems such as Epicor and strong analytical skills using financial data. - Proven leadership ability with experience partnering across operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and program management.
