About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations for a growing organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to provide accurate financial insights, improve operational performance, and support strategic business decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, strong analytical capabilities, excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management presentations.

• Develop financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and business-performance analyses.

• Partner with executive leadership and department heads on financial planning and strategic decisions.

• Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, profitability, and operating performance.

• Analyze financial trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve margins and business performance.

• Manage financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

• Support annual operating plans, long-range financial planning, and scenario analysis.

• Establish and improve financial controls, policies, procedures, and reporting processes.

• Collaborate with accounting teams on month-end and year-end close activities.

• Support audit, tax, compliance, and other financial requirements.

• Evaluate investments, business initiatives, contracts, and operational decisions from a financial perspective.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• Mentor finance professionals and contribute to building a high-performing finance organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, FP&A Manager, Controller, or equivalent role.

• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis.

• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional business teams.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, profitability, operating expenses, and financial controls.

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with financial reporting or ERP systems.

• Experience with financial planning and analytics tools, BI platforms, and business intelligence dashboards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fully remote environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in SaaS, technology, software, professional services, or other high-growth environments.

• Experience supporting executive leadership with financial strategy and decision-making.

• Experience with financial automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled finance tools.

• Experience managing distributed or remote teams.

• Experience with ERP, FP&A, BI, and accounting platforms.
