Responsibilities
Track and compare actual vs estimated production costs; investigate variances.
Support margin analysis with accurate cost of sales data.
Analyze plant expenses and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance.
Present key financial insights to operations and leadership.
Maintain accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead.
Review design or process changes for cost impacts.
Manage cost updates and item setup in ERP (D365 experience a plus).
Support inventory processes, including physical counts and month-end close.
Assist with annual budget and rolling forecast processes.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations to validate assumptions.
Provide ad hoc financial support as needed.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA a plus).
7+ years in cost accounting or financial analysis within manufacturing.
Skilled in Excel and ERP systems
Strong communicator with a proactive, analytical mindset.
Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks.
