Finance Manager- Shared Services

Quanex is looking for a Finance Manager, Shared Services, North America to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina.

The Finance Manager, Shared Services, North America will be an experienced manager who will oversee Accounts Payable, Credit and Accounts Receivable functions within our North American Shared Services team. This role is critical in driving efficiency, compliance, and strategic improvements in financial operations for our manufacturing business. The Finance Manager will collaborate cross-functionally, ensure adherence to company policies and regulations and implement best practices to optimize working capital and cash flow.

What Success Looks Like:

• AP, Credit, and AR processes operate efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Working capital is optimized through effective management of payment terms, collections, and customer credit risk.
• Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and delinquency trends improve through proactive collections strategies.
• Internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements are consistently maintained.
• Automation and process improvements deliver enhanced productivity and operational efficiency.
• A high-performing team is developed through strong leadership, coaching, and accountability.
• Leadership receives timely, accurate financial reporting and actionable business insights.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA) preferred.
• Five plus years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of AP, Credit and AR processes, policies, and regulations.
• Experience with financial systems SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, and automation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance, internal controls, and continuous improvement.

The salary range for this position is $112K-$137K with the potential to earn an annual bonus.
