Job description

The Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for oversight of multiple funds. Fund structures include closed-end structures, parallel fund vehicles, and co-investment vehicles. Primary responsibilities also include, but not limited to, managing and establishing goals/strategic direction for 3 offshore accountants, managing the relationships with the third-party administrator, independent auditors, and external tax preparers.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • · Review all annual and quarterly financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP.
  • · Ensure the accuracy of quarterly NAV packages prepared by internal and external fund administrators by reviewing the allocations of income, expenses, gains, and losses to limited partners, including the review of management fees and distribution waterfall calculations.
  • · Cash management of funds (cash forecasts, capital calls, and distributions).
  • · Prepare responses to limited partners related inquiries.
  • · Prepare limited partners related communications.
  • · Coordination with the funds’ independent auditors, tax preparers, custodians, fund administrators.
  • · Ensure fund activities are in compliance with fund governing documents.
  • · Performing other tasks as required.


Job requirements

Qualifications

  • · Minimum 3-5 years of VC/PE accounting experience required
  • · Bachelor’s Degree required
  • · CPA, MBA, or Masters, a plus
  • · Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • · Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • · Ability to manage and develop employees
  • · Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • · Team player and demonstrate a strong work ethic
