Nucor Vulcraft Texas Division is seeking a Finance Process Owner in Grapeland, TX to oversee end-to-end financial processes, ensuring they are safe, accurate, and aligned with organizational strategy. The role requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or 5+ years of equivalent experience), at least 3 years in finance/accounting operations, and 3+ years working alongside ERP or financial system implementations.

- Base salary ranging from $85,000 to $116,000 annually

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end finance processes, defining roadmaps, initiative backlogs, and MVP scope in tools like Azure DevOps while monitoring timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Serve as the single point of accountability and technical/system escalation lead, partnering across IT, GTS, Finance, and business leadership to deliver quality solutions and maintain deep domain expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, standardization, and change management efforts, while authoring process documentation, system configurations, and training materials.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting operations with strong end-to-end process improvement knowledge in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, or Controlling.
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP/financial system implementations (contributing to business requirements, UAT, or change management) and operating in Agile/iterative environments.
- Ability to travel domestically 10–20% to Vulcraft/Verco plants and demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety policies and standards.
- Strong familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and platforms like OneStream or Kyriba; professional certifications (PMP, CPA, CMA, Agile) are a plus.
