The Finance Shared Services Coordinator serves as a key operational and systems resource supporting Accounts Payable, Payroll, Financial Systems, and other Finance Shared Services functions. Collaborates with Corporate Finance leadership, Human Resources, Treasury, Supply Chain, Information Services, and operational departments to support daily financial operations, optimize system utilization, improve workflows, enhance internal controls, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives. Serves as a subject matter expert in PeopleSoft financial applications, workflow processes, reporting tools, testing, documentation, and operational support. Leads and supports initiatives focused on payment modernization, electronic payment adoption, payroll process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency. Participates in financial system implementations, upgrades, audits, regulatory reporting, and special projects while promoting best practices throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications:- Require a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or related field. Additional years of healthcare financial operations or financial systems experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis in lieu of degree requirement.
- Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting financial systems, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Finance Operations, or Shared Services functions. Require experience with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
- Prefer experience supporting healthcare finance operations, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
- Prefer experience with electronic payment solutions, including ACH, EFT, and virtual card programs, as well as experience testing and implementing ERP system enhancements and upgrades.
- Prefer experience with workflow automation and business process redesign, developing financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Prefer strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prefer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel functionality.
- Prefer Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement experience.
- Prefer ability to take initiative, work with limited supervision, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and solve problems independently.
