FINANCE SPECIALIST - PAYROLL: TREASURER'S OFFICE

Position Available: Immediately

Pay Range: $24.64 - $32.98 per hour; Based on skill and experience

Responsibilities: Serve as Finance Specialist in the Office of the Treasurer to help carry out efficient and effective operations of the finance function

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications: This position will focus on full cycle payroll and benefits administration. Work skills substantiated by training and/or work experience using governmental accounting procedures, cost/management accounting procedures and accounting software systems. Ability to become proficient using state software (USAS/USPS) or equivalent financial reporting systems. Demonstrates proficiency using MS Excel or a comparable software program. Ex perience with employee benefits administration. An acceptable score on a pre -employment skill test may be required. Displays flexibility, reliability, problem solving, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Associate's degree in accounting or related business field and/or equivalent work experience and training preferred.
