Finance Specialist (Temporary)

Location: Livermore, CA
Pay: $40-$48/hour DOE
Duration: 12-18 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Finance Specialist to support pricing, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role partners closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to manage customer pricing, evaluate cost changes, develop reporting, and provide financial insights that support business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

Monitor inventory cost changes and assess impacts on customer pricing

Maintain pricing reports, dashboards, and trend analyses

Partner with Sales and Supply Chain teams to validate data and communicate cost changes

Manage assigned pricing categories from quote through final invoice

Prepare customer-facing pricing communications

Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis

Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities

Identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies

Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems

Deliver timely financial insights to key stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

2+ years of finance, accounting, pricing, FP&A, or related experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar)

Experience with financial planning tools such as Planful, Anaplan, Hyperion, Essbase, or similar platforms

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Work Environment

* No travel required

* Standard start time of 7:00 AM (flexible)

* Office and manufacturing environment

* Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery

* Ability to wear required PPE when needed

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
