The Opportunity

Starting September 2026 we are looking for a motivated and curious Finance Student to join our team and gain hands-on experience across the full finance cycle within Vermilion's Dutch subsidiary. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, contribute to meaningful work, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency.

What You Will Do

Working from our Harlingen office, you will gain practical experience while supporting day-to-day finance operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities will include the following:

• Support accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting, and month-end close activities

• Process vendor invoices and assist with payment preparation

• Assist with cash management and treasury activities

• Analyze and process financial transactions within SAP

• Collaborate with experienced finance professionals across the organization

• Gain exposure to the full finance function within an international energy company

• Complete a project or practical thesis focused on areas such as process optimization, cash flow forecasting, account reconciliation improvements, automation opportunities, or our upcoming SAP upgrade project
