Purpose: The Finance System and Integration Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of finance systems and/or incremental enhancements across the Roofed Right platform, as well as coordinating and executing the integration of newly acquired entities from the Finance and Human Resources, in coordination with the Systems Integration Project Manager and the Finance System and Integration Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • As the expert finance project team member for the Acumatica ERP, Ramp, Avalara and WorforceGo HRIS system, perform design, research, implementation, testing and training to department team members utilizing projects, inventory, purchasing, accounting, payroll, human resources and other related modules.
  • Coordinate planned implementations and integrations in coordination with the Systems Integration Project Manager, with strategic direction from the CEO and CFO
  • Work with the Controller and Systems Integration Project Manager to monitor project spend and ensure meet project budgets.
  • Oversee the Finance System and Integration Specialist position to ensure projects are completed timely and with high quality, and employees are trained with a focus on excellence in communication
  • Oversee, as well as develop, own and maintain process documentation and related training videos as well as provide implementation and supplemental training to team members.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards. They must establish quality control processes, maintain or build on proper internal control and segregation of duties, and work with stakeholders to develop corrective actions when necessary.
  • Work with the CFO and Controllers to assess data and processes within newly acquired entities, and develop an integration plan in coordination with the Systems Integration Project Manager, in order to roll the entity into Roofed Right's umbrella of consolidated processes and systems while maintaining or improving equity for the employees; this includes mapping of accounts for consolidated reporting, merging banking, benefits, handbook, financial and payroll systems to create a cohesive and efficient back office process.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel and end-users to ensure the financial systems and processes meet the organization's requirements and objectives and that acquisitions are properly integrated into the Roofed Right organization. They must develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate updates and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible accounting and ERP implementation experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing staff, utilizing lateral leadership and working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with working with a growing company and creating best practices and development of team members
  • Experience supervising, developing staff and working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud or similar systems
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred:

  • Construction and/ or manufacturing experience
  • Experience with integrations of mergers and acquisitions
  • Specific ERP certification such as Acumatica, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP or similar systems
