The Team You'll Join

The Financial Systems team at Envestnet plays a critical role in powering the technology behind the company's finance operations, building and enhancing the systems that support reporting, reconciliation, and the close process. Partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, the team develops integrations, dashboards, and automation within Oracle Fusion to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient financial data flow across the organization. By combining deep technical expertise with business insight, they drive continuous improvement in how financial processes are executed-making it an exciting space for those who enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

How You'll Contribute

Financial Systems runs Oracle Fusion, EPM/FCCS, NetSuite, Concur, BlackLine, G Treasury, and Oracle Integration Cloud through a small, application-owner-led team. As Finance Systems Operations Lead, you will own the operating rhythm that holds that portfolio together: intake and triage, production support coordination, JIRA governance, access/security and controls-deadline tracking, vendor escalation, documentation standards, and ownership/backup visibility. This is a coordination and control role, not a hands-on application-expert role - you are not expected to be the Oracle, FCCS, NetSuite, Concur, BlackLine, or OIC expert. Deep application knowledge stays with the application owners; your job is to make sure the right work reaches the right owner, is tracked to closure, and never falls through the cracks. You report directly to the Head of Financial Systems and work daily with application owners, analysts, developers, contractors, and stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, Treasury, IT, and Internal Controls.

  • • Own Finance Systems intake and triage - review incoming JIRA requests, determine urgency and business impact, and route work to the correct application owner, analyst, developer, vendor, or stakeholder
  • Coordinate production support across all Finance Systems applications - track ownership, escalate business-critical issues, and keep stakeholders updated on status and blockers
  • Maintain JIRA as the operational source of truth - set and enforce ticket standards, review aging and unassigned tickets, and give management visibility into volume, ownership, and blockers
  • Coordinate access, security, and controls workflows - track user access reviews, PBC requests, audit evidence, and control deadlines, and escalate at-risk items before they''re missed
  • Maintain a current application ownership matrix - primary owners, backups, and administrators by system - and escalate single-point-of-failure risk
  • Coordinate vendor and support-portal activity across finance applications - track escalations, portal access, and vendor-driven patches and releases
  • Set documentation standards and coordinate with application owners to keep runbooks, access procedures, and support contacts current and usable
  • Maintain the shared calendar of patch windows, release cycles, and recurring control deadlines, and escalate missed or at-risk dates
  • Serve as the coordination point between Finance Systems and Accounting, Finance, Treasury, IT, Internal Controls, vendors, and business users on ownership, status, and escalation path

What You'll Need to Bring

  • • 5-8+ years in finance systems, business systems, enterprise applications, production support, or finance technology operations
  • Experience coordinating production support across multiple applications or business functions
  • Experience with JIRA Service Management, ServiceNow, or a comparable ticketing platform
  • Experience working directly with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Experience supporting access/security workflows, audit requests, control deadlines, or user access reviews
  • Experience maintaining operational documentation, runbooks, ownership matrices, or support procedures
  • Strong triage instincts - able to quickly separate what''s urgent, business-critical, close- or audit-sensitive, or a security issue from a routine enhancement
  • Comfortable holding application owners accountable without being their direct manager

Nice-to-Haves

  • • Hands-on exposure to cloud based business applications
  • Vendor support portal administration experience
  • SOX controls or segregation-of-duties experience
  • Finance systems patch/release coordination experience
  • SharePoint or similar documentation-management experience
