PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of various corporate financial statements SEC filings regulatory reporting benefit plan and other management reports
Conduct analysis of financial results and account balances to identify and effectively communicate key variance drivers to management
Lead or assist on projects relating to the adoption of new accounting and regulatory guidance automation of department processes and controls and other areas that support executive management decision making
Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of the Companys industry business segments and operations to support the Companys financial accounting and reporting process
Complete special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2years of experience in public accounting
Working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Dependability and attention to detail along with initiative professionalism and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in public accounting
CPA certification if CPA certification is not previously attained the successful candidate should be willing to pursue MBA or Masters in Accounting

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary range for this position is 75000-90000 This job posting contains a pay range which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes in good faith at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include individual qualifications licensures industry specific experience education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
