TWO ROLES - FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT AND COST ACCOUNTANT
The Financial Accountant and the Cost Accountant are responsible for supporting financial, cost, and inventory accounting functions. These positions play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close, analyzing production and operational costs, maintaining accurate inventory and product costing, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis.
These roles work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure financial accuracy, investigate discrepanices, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
Job Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, allocations, and accounting adjustments
Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
Maintain product costing, standard costing, and cost accounting systems
Maintaine ERP systems
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory movement, production activity and more
Maintain fixed asset records
Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, forecating, and financial planning activities

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relaed field required
Minimum of 5 years of progresive accounting experience
Manufacturing or similiar operational accounting required
Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, ME and YR end, cost accounting, inventory valuaction, and more
