Introduction

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst with strong Python programming skills to join our finance team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional corporate finance and data science. You will automate manual reporting, handle large datasets from multiple sources, and build advanced financial models to drive business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 6 Months to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or data processing.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (specifically pandas, NumPy, and data visualization packages).
• Strong command of Excel (VBA, financial modeling, and pivot tables).
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with SQL and querying databases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to translate complex data into simple business stories.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting and data collection.
• Build and update dynamic forecasting, budgeting, and scenario-analysis models using Excel and Python.
• Clean, process, and analyze large volumes of financial data using libraries like pandas and NumPy.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Risk Management teams to explain financial insights and support strategic resource allocation.
