Financial Accounting Supervisor

Overview:

Your key duties will involve coordinating periodic financial close processes, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and conducting in-depth financial analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Lead and facilitate budgeting activities and ensure interdepartmental collaboration for month-end cut-off processes.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations and support tax compliance initiatives.
• Oversee inventory assessments and manage capital project accounting.
• Play an integral role in quarterly reviews and year-end audits in partnership with external auditors.
• Strategically manage tasks and prioritize effectively.

Supervisory Role:

Oversee and mentor a team of two accounting professionals while reporting to the local divisional Controller.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory accounting role or senior accounting position capable of leading a small team.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing, but candidates from sectors such as banking and healthcare will also be considered.
