Overview
The Financial Administrator I provides day-to-day financial and accounting support for Vermont Correctional Industries (VCI) and Risk Intervention Services (RIS) within the Department of Corrections'' Central Business Office. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, thrives in a fast-paced and highly detailed, team-oriented environment, and is committed to accuracy, timeliness, and excellent customer service for internal partners and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records.
OR
Associate''s degree in accounting, business/office administration AND two (2) years or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records.
OR
Bachelor''s degree in accounting, business/office administration.
OR
One (1) year or more of experience as a Financial Specialist III with the State of Vermont.
