Financial Advisor's Assistant
Holland, MI | Contract to Direct Hire | Onsite
$20/hr+ OT after 40 hours
POSITION SUMMARY The Financial Advisor Assistant will support S&O and AA Operations. Supporting Sr. Advisor in contacting, building, scheduling, and onboarding current prospects & clients. Function as liaison between Sr. Advisor & clientele.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Communicate with Director/GM and Sr. financial advisor regarding meeting prep for prospects and current plan/401k participants
• Follow automations & workflows carved by Director in CRM
• Act as the POC/liaison between Sr. Advisor and client(s) for all service-related requests
• Input client account data and details in CRM
• Complete ad hoc client requests and answer Sr. Advisor questions, in person, by email and phone
• Work with Director, Ops, Advisor Care to prepare financial plans, portfolio recommendations, tax plans
• Support senior financial advisors in marketing initiatives to grow the business
• Perform new client onboarding, including generating estimate letters and contracts
• Manage, maintain and update financial planning systems
• Able to source plan participants relationships
• Meet, exceed defined activity & goals
• Assist in creation and execution of Client Events • Maintain professional expertise/knowledgebase
• Align and inform on Service Model matrices, for each client classification, working collaboratively with other S&O employees to carry defined offerings out
• Support various other functions of the business as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• Bachelor’s Degree in General Business, Finance, or Accounting – current or expected within 2 years
• Series 65 license – current or expected within a year
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (familiarity with account types, mutual funds, stocks, financial planning, etc.)
• Comfortable with office technology and software applications (eg: Microsoft Office products, general computer navigation, etc.)
• Attention to detail and accuracy while balancing multiple tasks and projects
