Financial Advisor – Wealth Services
Location: On-Site

We’re seeking a Financial Advisor who will contribute to client relationships, financial strategy, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do / Your Impact

Client Experience & Advisory Support

  • Meet one‑on‑one with prospective clients generated through firm‑sponsored marketing activities, including workshops and digital outreach
  • Guide prospects through the onboarding process and establish long‑term advisory relationships
  • Prepare, present, and implement customized financial plans aligned with client goals
  • Assist clients with investment strategies focused on retirement planning
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients and firm‑provided house accounts

Operational & Compliance Excellence

  • Ensure financial plans, investment recommendations, and client documentation align with regulatory requirements and firm standards
  • Coordinate with internal partners to support account setup, implementation, and ongoing servicing
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications and adhere to compliance and supervisory guidelines

Growth & Retention

  • Develop and retain strong client relationships through proactive service and consistent communication
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships through planning and investment solutions
  • Support firm growth by converting marketing‑generated prospects into long‑term advisory clients

 

Qualifications:

What You Bring

Required

  • 6+ years of financial services experience with an emphasis on sales and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of investment products and financial planning strategies, particularly retirement planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Preferred

  • Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 licenses
  • Active Connecticut Life & Health insurance license
  • CFP® designation or progress toward certification
  • College degree preferred

Additional Information:

Compensation:
Salary range: $80,000 – $85,000 per year
