A leading investment bank, advisory firm, or professional services organization may seek a Financial Advisory Analyst to support clients on complex financial and strategic decisions. These roles are well-suited for candidates interested in valuation, transaction advisory, restructuring, and financial analysis across the deal lifecycle.
Build and maintain financial models including DCF, transaction, scenario, and sensitivity analyses
Perform valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and strategic initiatives
Conduct company, industry, and market research to support advisory engagements
Support live M&A, restructuring, capital advisory, and transaction advisory assignments
Prepare investment memoranda, pitch materials, fairness opinions, and client presentations
Assist with financial due diligence, data room management, and analytical support
Collaborate with senior advisors and cross-functional teams on client strategy and execution
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical techniques
Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in financial advisory, investment banking, consulting, valuation, audit, or transaction services is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms
