Description: Financial Aid Advisor, Full Time

Reports to: Director of Financial Aid

Salary Range: $21.09 to $26.36 per hour based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits included and linked here: Benefits At A Glance - Staff

Position Summary: The Financial Aid Advisor is responsible to the Director of Financial Aid for the day to day contact with financial aid applicants and the processing of specific financial aid functions on the Oglesby Campus.

Qualifications: Associate's degree in business or a related field and/or appropriate work experience in the Financial Aid field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to represent the college to the public; time management skills; general computer skills with demonstrated effective use of the Microsoft Office Suite in a Windows environment required. Proficiency with integrated computer systems (Datatel/Colleague, SCT/Banner, etc.); student services experience in a community college or other customer service experience; and willingness to attend training and take additional courses to update skills as needed preferred.
