Financial Aid Specialist

The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) has an immediate need for Financial Aid consultants for a fully remote, full-time, 3-4-month engagement. We are seeking reliable, compliance driven candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' practical, hands-on experience in the following targeted Title IV processing areas: Packaging and repackaging aid for non-term or modular term programs required Title IV Disbursement rulesCustomer service and rapid response to escalated scenarios Candidates with demonstrated experience in Anthology will be prioritized. The successful candidate will demonstrate: A deep understanding of Title IV regulations and workflowDemonstrated competency with various technology tools including financial aid management systems Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a virtual environment Clear written and verbal communication The ability to troubleshoot issues independently and escalate appropriatelyExcellent attention to detailAdaptability to virtual and asynchronous trainingThe Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc.
