TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Financial Analyst - Controllership Team. The Financial Analyst – Controllership Team will report to the Director of Finance. This position will participate in the balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure correct reporting for statutory and government purposes, assist with audit related activities, enhancements to current accounting policies and internal control documentation. The ideal candidate will possess an accounting degree, with high attention to details and ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly-evolving environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare monthly statutory financial statements.
Prepare and participate in reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts
Prepare Journal Entries with appropriate supporting documentation
Assist with compliance related projects
Assist with audit procedural activities
Assist with enhancements of current accounting policies and internal control procedures documentation
Participate in creating value through automation, improved reporting, and pushing processes back into SAP
Other Responsibilities could include the following
Prepare Government Reports including Census Surveys
Manage monthly accounting for leases, fixed assets, and intercompany balances
Assist with the collection of required data for insurance policy renewals
Participate in strategic financial projects including ERP upgrades and other financial software implementations
Assist the Director of Finance, VP of Finance, Campus CFO’s and VP of Taxation with special projects and ad hoc analysis
