Southwire Company - Financial Analyst

Job Description
1. Support the ongoing development and refinement of commercial and financial analytics tools—including SOH reporting, budget vs. plan analysis, performance tracking —to support timely, data-driven decision-making.
2. Support the annual budgeting cycle in partnership with Commercial, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accuracy across all business units
3. Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for streamlining reporting processes and enhancing analytical capabilities.
4. Provide monthly cost center analyses to all the teams we support, enabling effective budget monitoring and variance analysis.
5. Prepare comprehensive, data-driven materials for business review meetings that empower key stakeholders to make informed decisions.
6. Serve as a trusted business partner by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align financial and commercial strategies with overall business objectives.
7. Partner with IT teams to optimize business intelligence solutions and refine master data structures, enhancing reporting efficiency and data integrity.
8. Maintain and evolve Tableau dashboards and other reporting tools used by commercial and finance teams, ensuring delivery of timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
9. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support as needed by business partners and leadership team

Qualification and Experience
A bachelor's degree in administration, Accounting or Finance required. CFA and/or CPA designation a plus.

1 to 3 + years of experience in financial analysis or relevant business experience needed.

3. Strong analytical and computer skills
4. Excel super user (pivot tables, V-Lookups, macros, ability to manage large amounts of data)
5. Experience and comfort with working with IT financial systems.

1. Highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and to perform in a fast-paced environment.
2. Experience in using Business analytical reporting tools.
3. Ability to gather information and review assumptions for logic and reasonableness.
