Summary

Growth oriented Corporate Treasury team is looking to add an experienced financial analyst/client specialist to help build new Wholesale Public Funds (WPF) Desk. This role provides assistance to the Head of Wholesale Public Funds by performing daily support activities related to client relationships. In addition, this individual will act as the point of contact for the Group's clients for all servicing requests related to the client relationship and keep the Head of WPF informed as appropriate. To be effective in this high visibility role the analyst/specialist must be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communications skills, and have a strong work ethic.

Job responsibilities
  • Assists Head of WPF by performing daily support activities related to client relationships and keeps the Head of WPF informed when appropriate
  • Acts as point of contact for Wholesale clients for all servicing requests related to client relationship
  • Attend weekly scheduled meetings with the Team to discuss workflow items such as client updates, new pipeline items, servicing requests, data reporting, etc.
  • Acts as liaison between the Team and other areas of the bank regarding processes and procedures. Manage due diligence requirements for prospective clients
  • Assists with sales support functions to include marketing requests, client and prospect presentations and building prospect information files
  • Opens new deposit products for clients
  • Maintains client records for deposit accounts
  • Supports the Team with miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned
  • Perform economic, industry, and regulatory research
  • Assist other teams within Corporate Treasury on Public Funds deposit pricing and other ad-hoc assignments as needed.
  • Constructing processes for financial analysis, reporting, and data management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the banking industry (Finance, Risk, Audit, Business Intelligence, or Product team) or State and Local Government highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form
  • Self-starter who can independently provide high quality, detail-oriented work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
