Job Summary
BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, and strategic reporting initiatives across the organization. This role partners with finance leadership, operational teams, and department stakeholders to analyze financial performance, identify trends, improve efficiencies, and support data-driven business decisions.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, advanced financial reporting expertise, and the ability to interpret complex financial data while delivering actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze financial performance, trends, and operational metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations.
Develop financial models, forecasting tools, and variance analyses.
Monitor departmental budgets and assist with budget planning processes.
Conduct revenue, expense, and profitability analysis across business units.
Support financial planning and long-term forecasting initiatives.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
Perform financial scenario analysis and business performance evaluations.
Collaborate with leadership teams to develop financial strategies and recommendations.
Data Analysis & Business Support
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance indicators, and operational opportunities.
Create dashboards, reports, and visual presentations for leadership review.
Support ad hoc financial analysis requests and executive reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and business teams.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial standards.
Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation.
Recommend process improvements to increase operational and financial efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality regarding financial and organizational information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of Financial Analyst, FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including financial modeling and data analysis.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate insights clearly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare finance, healthcare operations, or nonprofit organizations.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or advanced finance certifications preferred.
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or PeopleSoft.
Familiarity with financial visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and financial compliance standards.
Experience supporting executive leadership with financial presentations and analysis.
