FP&A Analyst

\nPosition Summary
\nWe are seeking a FP&A Analyst with a strong foundation in healthcare finance to support a rapidly growing multi-entity healthcare platform. This role will drive FP&A, operational analytics, and strategic finance initiatives, with direct exposure to executive leadership.
\nThe ideal candidate has a strong foundation in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and pro forma modeling, along with an understanding of healthcare financial drivers such as payer mix, collections, and procedure-level economics.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nFP&A & Financial Reporting
\n• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
\n• Support monthly close and multi-entity P&L reporting
\n• Analyze budget vs. actual performance and identify key drivers and variances
\n• Assist in developing standardized reporting cadence and outputs
\nOperational Analytics
\n• Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators across sites and service lines
\n• Ensure consistency and accuracy of operational data used in financial reporting and analysis • Identify trends and variances in operational performance and escalate insights to finance and leadership
\nStrategic Finance & M&A
\n• Support financial diligence and underwriting for acquisitions
\n• Assist leadership in evaluating new service lines and growth initiatives
\n• Build pro forma models based on operational and revenue assumptions
\n• Analyze service line performance, strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
\n• Translate acquisition and integration performance into inputs for ongoing forecasting and deal diligence
\nAd-Hoc
\n• Support ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed to inform business decisions
\n• Build quick-turn models and scenario analyses to support time-sensitive leadership requests
\n• Prepare presentation-ready schedules and materials for executive, board, and lender requests
\n• Partner with operations, accounting, and clinical leadership to source data and validate assumptions
\nRequired Qualifications
\n• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
\n• 2–4 years of experience, healthcare finance preferred
\n• Strong understanding of payer mix, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle
\n• Experience with procedure-level or service line financial analysis
\n• Advanced proficiency in Excel
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nTechnical ability is important, but resourcefulness and ownership are equally important in this role. The successful candidate should be someone who:
\n• Can take an assignment from concept through completion without requiring constant direction
\n• Knows how to research and troubleshoot problems independently
\n• Can take an incomplete data set or loosely defined problem and determine how to move forward
\nCompensation
\n$80,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
\nWhat Success Looks Like
\nWithin the first several months, the Analyst should own recurring budgeting and forecasting, multi-entity P&L reporting, operational dashboards, and variance analysis with limited supervision — given the objective, the data, and initial direction, then figuring out how to get to the finished product.
