Financial Analyst
Pay Rate: $30 - $33.50 per hour, W 2
Location: Clinton, IA
Duration: 3-6 month Contract
Work Mode: Onsite
Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
- Assist in audit process
- Review/audit quarterly fixed assets for additions, true-ups, retirements, and overall maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Monthly balance of inventories - board, WIP, FG, supplies, and intercompany charges
- Assist with physical inventory of FG, WIP, Board, supplies, and Company Assets
- Inventory monitoring - monitors raw materials and finished goods and reports on the findings to Finance manager and/or General Manager
- Assist with month end consolidation process
- Coordinate with various corporate departments to provide monthly financial information, as necessary
- Review and problem solve discrepancies in the month end reporting
- Assist with working capital for the plant and provide any necessary information to the Finance Manager or General Manager
- Collaborate with other departments on creating a pipeline of Margin Enhancement projects
- Assist department managers with data input and monthly reports
- Process improvement, monthly KPI reporting, and consolidation tool implementation
- Analyze financials for significant fluctuations and proper reporting presentations
- Collaborate with AP/AR and production to correct errors, ensure proper timing, and application of revenue recognition rules, and approve AP monthly accrual
- Review and analyze job costing reports and reports on variances
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of GL
