Description

The Financial Analyst, Finance supports financial planning, reporting, analysis, and business decision-making activities across the organization. This role partners with cross-functional teams to provide timely financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, analyze business performance, and ensure the accuracy of financial information. The Financial Analyst contributes to operational efficiency by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities while supporting strategic initiatives and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and report financial and operational data to support business performance, planning, and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, financial models, and reporting tools to support organizational objectives.
• Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators, providing recommendations and actionable insights to management.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial close activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, resolve issues, and support strategic and operational initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.
• Support special projects, ad hoc analyses, process improvement initiatives, and other business priorities as assigned.

Minimum Salary: $67,700.00

Maximum Salary: $88,830.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience:

• Bachelor"s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with financial systems and reporting tools preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, reconciliations, and business performance analysis preferred.
• Experience with ERP, financial planning, or business intelligence tools (SAP, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or similar systems is a plus.
