Financial AnalystEXPANSION POSITION! Our client, a locally based organization and industry leader, has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst. This is a newly created position due to a department reorganization and expansion.Job Summary :Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst will serve as a major finance contributor over the entire organization’s portfolio and will be a key partner to the operational leaders by helping to define and drive all financial analysis and reporting for our business. The Financial Analyst will serve as the key finance resource for complex analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will be seen as a driver of results within the organization (census growth, revenue rate, labor management, overhead staffing, collections, expense, and capital expenditures). The Financial Analyst will also 1) work directly with company management to analyze and present financial information in an easily understood manner, 2) work and communicate with internal and external clients and customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner and 3) work directly with Chief Financial Officer on high visibility projects.Requirements:BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.CPA preferred or 5+ equivalent years of experience.At least two years’ experience in financial analytics or auditing.Experience in financial analysis and report writing necessary.Experience in public accounting and/or demonstrated experience in accounting and reporting a plus.Requires strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.Proficiency with MS Office and Excel required. Prioritizing and good organizational skills required.
