The Program Finance Analyst (Financial Analyst) performs Financial Management and Program Control functions associated with design & engineering contracts managed by the Program Finance Department 626.
The Program Finance team serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.
Responsibilities
Skills
Knowledge of EB Systems (WAF/DLB, Accounting, Planning, Mainframe MRP, Purchasing and Inventory, Oracle) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
Able to meet critical deadlines
Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with others
Be interested in and capable of analyzing data with minimal supervision
Possess a considerable amount of initiative and organizational skills
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or Statistics
Preferred:
0-3 years of related experience
Prior Electric Boat internship or co-op experience
Experience in Government contract cost control
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Experience reporting and analyzing financial data
Experience with Earned Value Management
