LHH is seeking Financial Analyst candidates for an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing company in the Hauppauge, NY area. This is a full-time, on-site position. Temp to Perm.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and at least 2 years of financial analysis experience. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000/year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets

  • Perform financial modeling and variance analysis to support business decisions

  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

  • Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and management reporting

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations

  • Support month-end and year-end close by assisting with financial reporting and analysis

  • Evaluate operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

  • MBA, CFA designation, or progress toward a professional certification preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, or professional services environments
