Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a leading aviation manufacturer to find a Financial Analyst.  As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for financial reporting, cost controlling and performance management analysis. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree along with at least 3 years of financial analyst experience within large complex organizations, an interest in utilizing AI, proficient in MS Office and SAP as well as a demonstrated record of delivering value through continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.  If you’re seeking your next opportunity, apply now!


Responsibilities:
  • Lead regional Services growth planning within a specific cycle and manage business controlling for an approximately $50M perimeter, including headcount and procurement pipelines.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-powered systems and machine-learning use cases to automate data retrieval, streamline variance analysis, and transition the department toward predictive rolling forecasts.
  • Deliver deep-dive regional financial reviews and risk-mitigation strategies, while partnering with leadership to prepare executive briefings and dashboards for senior management.
  • Monitor and track key P&L and balance sheet items, while supporting the expansion of predictive cash-forecasting algorithms to optimize working capital.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Accounting, and Systems teams to ensure alignment across IFRS/US GAAP, develop overhead allocation models, and formulate unit costing and hourly rate structures for commercial pricing strategies.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • Up to 5+years of experience working in complex, large and global organizations supporting P&L business, contract operations or financial planning cycle.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to measure return on investment (ROI) via discounted cash flow (DCF) methods, NPV, IRR, and payback period calculations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Access, Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise systems, including SAP
