Salary Grade: Manager III

Duties:

  • Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and the Board of Directors while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as net interest margin, loan/deposit growth, efficiency ratio, and capital ratios.
  • Assists with the banks budget, financial projections, and variance analyses, and supports the development of management discussion and analysis (MD&A) for internal and regulatory reports.
  • Performs profitability analysis by line of business, branch, and product, and assists in compiling financial information for call reports, FR Y-9C, and other regulatory filings.
  • Supports internal and external audit processes, ensures compliance with GAAP and FFIEC guidance, and assists with asset/liability management (ALCO) processes including interest rate risk modeling and liquidity stress testing.
  • Monitors investment portfolio performance and participates in special projects such as merger modeling, cost-benefit analyses, and the financial evaluation of new product initiatives.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial models) and familiarity with general ledger systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry, Prologue).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, financial statements, and regulatory requirements preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial analysis, or accounting preferred.
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, or regulatory reporting is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
