We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and business decision-making with one of our clients in High Point. This role will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, developing forecasts, and providing recommendations to improve organizational performance and profitability.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.

  • Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Prepare management reports and presentations for leadership teams.

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by partnering with accounting teams.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

  • Evaluate business operations and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning initiatives.

  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain financial reporting integrity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support operational and financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of financial analysis, accounting, or related experience.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling techniques.

  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
