About the Opportunity:
The Financial Analyst supports the District Attorney's Office by performing a wide range of financial, statistical, and budgetary analysis tasks. This role plays a critical part in developing, monitoring, and administering the department's annual budget, forecasting revenues and expenditures, preparing grant applications, managing awarded grants, overseeing operational financial processes, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The position also maintains financial records, prepares quarterly and annual financial reports for grants, monitors budget activity, and provides management with timely and accurate financial analyses. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with internal staff, county departments, grant managers, and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR
An Associate's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR
Six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing, of which at least four (4) years of experience must be in the public sector.
