As a Financial Analyst with Inalfa, you are in the driver's seat to interpret financial trends and report key performance indictors, make recommendations based on financial statements and data, and execute month-end and year-end closings.

SUMMARY

Assist in financial activities of organization or subdivision of organization; prepares or directs preparation of reports that summarize company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Compile financial statements, review data and ensure financial compliance.
  • Responsible for executing financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and accounts receivable, tax returns, account reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the company.
  • Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial impact.
  • Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
  • Evaluates operating records, and financial statements.
  • Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
  • Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  • Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

IATF16949 RESPONSIBILITIES The TS16949 responsibilities listed below are required for this position. Other responsibilities may be added, with or without notice in writing, at any time.

Adhere to all TS16949 procedures as related to the finance department function.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree required 5 + (Senior) years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Cost Accounting experience a plus. Certified Public Account Certification a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

GENERAL SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Access. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
