Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Onsite Monday Wednesday, Remote Thursday Friday)

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST

Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will support financial systems, reporting, forecasting, and consolidation activities within a Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) environment. This role is responsible for monthly close support, master data maintenance, reporting, system administration, and troubleshooting while partnering with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Support administration and maintenance of financial consolidation systems
  • Manage forecasting activities, P&L reporting, and balance reconciliations
  • Support monthly and weekly financial consolidations
  • Execute monthly close cycle routines, validations, and data processing activities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot input schedules, reports, and Data Manager packages
  • Perform master data updates and data uploads between applications
  • Build, enhance, and maintain financial reports and reporting solutions
  • Test and validate system processes, enhancements, and reporting functionality
  • Investigate and resolve user issues related to reporting and system functionality
  • Support process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects
  • Provide day-to-day support to financial system users

Required Skills:

  • Strong accounting and finance background
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise
  • Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and management levels

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) applications
  • SAP BPC experience
  • Experience supporting financial close and consolidation processes

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation)
