We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst I/II/III for our Owensboro, KY location.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The position will perform all treasury and credit functions. Primary duties include - daily cash management for 35+ bank and investment accounts, cash applications for all Boardwalk entity receivables, daily processing of payments via checks & wires ; daily and monthly journal entries through Oracle EBS; monthly analysis of 225 treasury related accounts ; cash collections on delinquent accounts; voiding & reissuing checks, escheatment filings; refunding credit balances to gas customers; quarterly reporting to banks & rating agencies; monthly & quarterly audit requirements; Financial statement review & analysis for potential new customers & monitoring

financial position existing customer base.

Interaction with banks, general accounting, accounts payable, tax, payroll, contracts, commercial accounting, legal.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi-task as priorities change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5 years of experience in gas industry
• Oracle EBS experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• BS Degree: Accounting or equivalent
