Overview:

This position supports the Finance Director for Global Operations with a focus on FP&A.  Global Ops Finance, as a department, is in charge of managing the global budget and financial results for manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, facilities, quality control, and costing.  We are responsible for a blend of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, ERP system configuration, internal control, and business analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the management report process to deliver consolidated Global Operations financial performance and related insights and analysis
  • Assisting Global Operations FP&A activities, rolling forward queries and reports, posting journal entries, and completing reconciliations
  • Assessing current financial processes and reporting to identify enhancement opportunities while embracing a continuous improvement culture
  • Assisting with files that support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting process with reporting to Corporate FP&A
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional departments to drive financial controls and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting capital spend tracking and forecasting with associated legal entity/company code reporting
  • Creating process documentation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Manufacturing company experience is a plus
  • Understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP, with strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
  • Position requires strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and drive to learn the business and help solve problems in a team environment
