Job Description:
The Finance Analyst III is a senior member of UF’s centralized costing team, responsible for developing advanced financial models, performing complex costing analysis, and delivering insights that support research, academic, auxiliary, and fee‑for‑service decision‑making. The role evaluates large datasets, strengthens costing methodologies, and collaborates with campus partners to improve transparency and analytical consistency across the institution.
Key Duties
Build and maintain sophisticated financial and cost‑allocation models for institutional costing activities.
Perform advanced costing analysis, including multi‑variable calculations and validation of complex datasets.
Document costing methodologies and prepare analytical summaries that support planning and decision‑making.
Partner with campus units to refine costing processes and integrate best practices into operational workflows.
Produce costing reports, dashboards, and decision‑support tools that enhance transparency and usability.
