Financial Analyst, JuniorPosition: Financial Analyst IDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Newark, NJResponsibilities:Position will assist with reconciliations, creation of Journal entries, and review of data to determine accuracy, creation of bills to our Vendors, etcNeed an understanding of accounting, so can prepare the Journal entriesNeed Access skill to be able to do queries, comparison, and, summary of data (which could be large volume of records)Needs Excel skills in order to create Summary analysis, calculations, vlookup, Pivot tables to review the data, for accuracy, and, for AnalysisGood Access and Excel skills to manipulate the data for various analysis, creation of invoices, and, journals, and, review of data with other DepartmentsResponsibilities:Perform variance analysisEnsure the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of financial dataReconcile designated accounts using proper accounting techniques, to verify account balancesAnalyze designated entries to ensure accurate financial records; investigates unusual items as they are identified to ensure amounts are properEducation/Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or universityRequires zero to two years business experience, preferably in general accounting, financial analysis or related functionAdditional Information:All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
