What You’ll Do
Accounting/Financial support of multiple locations within Nucor Rebar Fabrication. This would include visits to branch sites, along with research and analysis of accounts.

Your Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Accounting Team at month-end closings to review the contract accrual/deferral function and propose adjustment entries as needed.
• Manage the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting function.
• Perform revenue recognition analyses (accruals/deferrals).
• Manage financial accounting reporting and analysis associated with multiple locations.
• Update and maintain Fixed Asset System (FAS) and prepare monthly PP&E roll-forward schedules.
• Perform systemic CapEx management functions and prepares related analyses and reporting.
• Prepare monthly Operational and P&L Analysis reporting.
• Conduct physical inventories.
• File Personal Property Tax returns, as required by state and local agencies.
• Complete various surveys and/or disclosure reporting related to production, commodity flow, conflict minerals, etc.
• Maintain SOX controls ensuring all the controls are in place and up to date; administer SOX control testing.
• Prepare general ledger entries (including recurring and intercompany) and maintain records and files.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare supporting schedules.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years work experience supporting a multi-location group of businesses, with strong emphasis on collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:• Attainment of an MBA degree or CPA designation
• Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
