Financial Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI and/or Tableau) that track pricing performance and volume and market share to support operational and commercial decision-making.

Standardize data models and reporting definitions to ensure consistent, auditable KPI calculations.

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support deal reviews and strategic planning.

Automate recurring financial reporting and reconciliation processes using SQL, Python, VBA, and Power Query to reduce manual effort and turnaround time.

Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable dashboards and analytical tools.

Serve as a subject-matter resource on BI/reporting best practices, mentoring peers on dashboard design and data governance as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence/reporting, or a closely related analytical role (relevant internship experience considered for early-career candidates).

Demonstrated experience building dashboards or reports used for business decision-making.

Skills

Hands-on proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and dashboard design.

Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, and reconciling data across systems.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, macros/VBA).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
