Financial Analyst

Position: Financial Analyst

Location: Nashua, NH (Hybrid)

The Financial Analyst is a cross-functional finance role supporting the Central Finance Function / Nashua site and its affiliated global locations across accounts payable operations, intercompany and cost-center billing, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting, and inventory/cycle-count controls. The role serves as a key point of coordination between Finance, Engineering, IT, HR, Sales, and international sites (including Mexico and Asia), and is responsible for a high volume of recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual close deliverables in addition to daily transactional support. The Financial Analyst also owns several internal-control-mapped processes and partners with plant and regional teams on physical inventory and cycle-count compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Accounts payable & vendor management: enter purchase requisitions, monitor daily terminations, set up and maintain vendor records for North American /Mexico entities, and process employee/candidate Concur setups.
• Software Licensing: Maintain the global software licensing for Development Engineering. Accept quotes, get the Pos entered and invoices submitted. Maintain amortization schedules and bill out software for other Amphenol divisions.
• Freight: process the weekly freight report and monthly accrual, and resolve carrier billing/shipment issues.
• Billing & commissions: prepare intercompany billing and commission entries, manage contractor billing, and accrue/reconcile quarterly MREP sales commissions.
• P&L reporting: prepare monthly P&Ls for Nashua, regional sites, and Development Engineering.
• Cost allocations & cross-charges: prepare monthly Nashua cost allocations and manual journal entries, and quarterly Engineering/IT intercompany cross-charges (including HTNE and Asia-site billing).
• Inventory controls: review WIP/receiving aging during close, and lead Nashua's semiannual cycle-count program and COSO cycle-count testing across global sites.
• Other reporting: compile quarterly EAC (sustainability) data for facilities and building management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related finance roles.
• Proficiency with an ERP (e.g., Dynamics AX), Concur, and Excel; BI tools (e.g., Qlikview) a plus.
• Experience with internal controls / SOX-mapped processes preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial results and identify business implications.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and proactively drive results in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, time zones, and all levels of the organization, including operational teams, finance partners, and executive leadership.
