Position Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, reporting, forecasting, operational analysis, and strategic decision support for a portfolio of self-storage assets across the United States and Canada. This role partners closely with operations, revenue management, asset management, and executive leadership to drive NOI growth, optimize expense performance, improve reporting accuracy, and support strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with operational understanding of the self-storage industry. Reporting directly to the Director of Portfolio Management, this is an exciting opportunity at a fast-growing company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred but not required.
• 1–3+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, asset management, or operational finance experience.
• Experience in self storage, real estate, multifamily, retail, hospitality, or multi-site operations strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Understanding of property-level financial statements and operational KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through.
