We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Paramus, New Jersey. This role provides analytical and operational finance support to the VP, Controller within our Licensed Brands portfolio, partnering closely with Accounting, Commercial, and Brand teams to support accurate reporting, pricing execution, and business decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Systems Support

Manage and maintain global pricing data in SAP, including pricing tables and uploads Support the global pricing promotion process in SAP, including user training, monitoring, and issue resolution Assist with the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of pricing models

Planning, Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and update Excel templates for AOP and Latest Estimate (LE) reporting, as well as customer sales reporting Lead or support key components of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and LE planning cycles Maintain data integrity for sales and expense reporting by business area Analyze actual performance versus plan, including:

  • Cost center performance
  • Sales by customer
  • Gross margin
  • Operating expenses
  • Royalty & Accrual Processes

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual royalty process, including:

  • Calculating monthly royalties
  • Preparing royalty reporting required by licensors
  • Assisting with royalty payment requests and invoices
  • Reconciling prepaid and accrued royalty accounts
  • Tracking quarterly royalty payments Support the monthly accrual process by:
  • Preparing accrual calculations
  • Providing journal entries to Accounting
  • Reconciling general ledger balance sheet accounts

Financial Models & Tools

Support the creation and maintenance of financial models Serve as a power user for financial planning tools Assemble monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance environment Advanced Excel skills required Experience with SAP and BI tools strongly preferred

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year. Base salary is determined by individualized factors such as experience and market location.
