Overview

A growing construction company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. This role will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts, working closely with the Senior Financial Analyst. Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis to support budgeting and strategic decision-making
• Assist with the annual budget process, including data gathering and forecasting
• Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports for leadership review
• Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and provide actionable insights
• Build and maintain financial models and reports using advanced Excel
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial visibility and performance tracking
• Support ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
